Arco da Victoria

This archway is at the end of the Rua Augusta, as it opens onto the Praca Comerio. Under the archway you can see the status of King Jose I, which stands in the middle of the Praca. Notice the two policemen standing in the street? Despite their presence, several people tried to sell us pot as we walked the block and a half to the arch.
