============================================================================
Well, I have scoured the net in search of sounds for my Wavestation EX for
about a year now, and I have to say I was really disappointed with the amount
of stuff out there for this amazing synth. I have decided to contribute a few
of the sounds I have made. 'I personally think that people are hording their
sounds like some old man that hides all his money in 'Maxwell House' coffee cans,
to scared to put it in the bank, as he thinks someone will steal it!' So I am
hoping, that everyone will 'SHARE!' some of their sounds with the rest of the
Wavestation net community. That way we all get new sounds. So here you go, this
is the 'Radwar' sound bank. Created by: Robert E. Heath. From Sept 19th - Nov 18th
1995. All sounds are sent out as a 'Free Release'. These sounds may be used
freely. Only the original 'radwar.syx' & 'radwar.txt' may be uploaded to ftp sites,
or placed onto www pages in it's original unedited form. If you decided to use these
sounds in a comercial fashion, ie: on an album, or CD compalation, all I ask is to
be given a creator credit in some form or another. Well, enjoy the sounds. -

0 HeavyShift - 'This is my attempt to simulate what an Astronaut would
hear in his helmet as he breaths. Use the mod wheel to
		 add reverb to this sound.'

1 Pulsing Cheese - 'Just a really odd sounding wavesequence with some
pipe hits and a mod wheel reverb effector.'

2 'Kung-Fu' - 'I was noticing that whenever you see anything to do with
the 'Far East' or the 'Rain Forests' in the movies or on
T.V. you will hear this flute. It is modeled after the
'Cane' flute that is heard in the T.V. show 'Kung-Fu'.
Play around and above middle 'C' and use lots of minor
3rds. Also, use the pitch bender with really sharp quick
		bends.

3 Panic in Taipan - 'This sound is based on the Asian style 'Dragon
Percussionists' of Taipan. Sounds very urgent and
		      angry.'

4 Live Strings - 'This is a simple little 'Live' sounding string pad. Great
of brighting up some classical based compositions.'

5 Pipe Factory - 'This is just a crazy sound I came up with, the lowest 'C'
note contains a 'Gong' sound and the rest have massive
reverb laddend pipe hits. Reminds me of a pipe factory.'

6 'THE X-FILES' - 'The X-FILES' theme song sound. Watch the show and learn
                    the riffs.

7 Second Coming - 'A 'Sightings-esque' sound pad. Makes me think of fluffy
white clouds and Jesus Christ returning to claim his
Earth! Mod wheel adjusts the flange and reverb.'

8 FuSiOn PaD - 'Just a simple piano/choir pad that tends to get used in
jazz fusion tunes to solo over. (Time to shred guitarists!)

9 Be-Bop Kit - 'A mix of the drum set and the Wavestation SR's cymbals.
great for Be-Bop and Jazz swing tunes!'

10 'MotherShip' - 'This is a sound simulation of an extremely large U.F.O.
flying in and hovering in place. Pulsing and humming as
it floats over a large urban city! (I love Close Encounter's
of the Third Kind! :) Use the mod wheel to make the ship
'Whoosh' in, then us it to adjust the pluse's and humm's
		    at your own discrestion.'

11 Jaco's Bass - 'My attempt to capture the 'BEST' fusion bass player 'Jaco
Pastorius' bass sound. Bust out those 'Weather Report'
		   bass licks!

12 'WaveStation' - 'This is an amazing little wavesequence that was buried
in the bowels of one of my sound cards that I had never
heard before. So I just spiced it up with some reverb.
Use the mod wheel to add generous amounts of reverb.

13 The Phantom - 'Cool sounding 'Church Organ' pad. Reminds me of 'The
Phantom of the Opera'. Use the mod wheel to add vibrato.'

14 The Beast - 'Some sort of a LARGE beast breathing and moaning in the
bowels of a dungeon. Sort of cool to hear, but most likely
not to much use for anything. <Grin!>

15 'UZEB' (C) - 'This sound was based off of a live 'UZEB' concert I had on tape.
It is an extremely close approximation of Micheal Cusson's guitar
synth sound, that he used for soloing over tunes. If you have a
guitar synth, hook it up and jam! If not, it's still cool! I set it
up so it's velocity sensitive, the harder you hit, or pick, the more
		   'Wha Wha' it adds.

16 French Police - 'This one is pretty cool in my opinion! Okay, Only 2 keys
function on this one. 'C' is the key. You'll find them.
Anyway, the first key is a 'Euro' style police siren.
The next one is an 'American' style whailing siren. Use
the mod wheel to add a passing between buildings type of
reverb to the 'Euro' siren. Then You can add the
'American' siren in. Use the mod wheel in a slow even
'Up' and 'Down' motion to make the siren whail properly.
I also added a fade out routine for realism. I wrote
this after watching a documentary on a special 'Euro'
		     bomb squad unit.
