Sagrada Familia Front
When I was a kid, we would make "drip castles" on the beach. We'd go down to just above the tide line, and dig a pit until we hit the wet, almost liquid sand that lies beneath the surface. Grabbing a handful, we'd run it through our fingers, directing it onto the dry sand in semi-controlled streams. Once it hit the dry sand, it would solidify almost instantly into ornate, organic spires. Gaudi's Sagrada Familia strongly reminded me of this; it's almost too fantastic to be made of steel, concrete, and stone.
