This small scrap of nostalgia is a reference to a text-based adventure game called Zork, which I used to play on our old Atari 800 computer. The whole concept of "text-based" computer games has almost disappeared by now, but you can find a program called "Frotz" which lets you play them on Palm handhelds (faster than the original, I'll add!)
